Fina Modules
Fina modules are designed to provide account level functionality to better orgnanize and manage your financial data. They work at the account level despite you have multiple profiles or not.
Currently, Fina has the following modules:
- Radar: Manage top-line important alerts about your Fina account.
- Merchants: Manage merchant related settings, mainly name management for now.
- Schedules: Manage recurring transactions schedules.
Merchants
Merchant is a simple module to manage merchant names. Often, the merchant names from bank are not clean (eg. random text added), and it is hard to read and understand, and most importantly, it is hard to group them together for better analysis.
Fina provides a simple way to manage merchant names, you can serach those merchants by keywords and rename them to a unifiled name. Once renamed, all transactions with the same merchant name will be updated automatically. You think of this like a special rule.
Merchant module also provides a simple way to explore all merchants for a given time period through bubble chart, you can click each bubble to rename the merchant or click its card to view all transactions for that merchant.
Click on each merchant bubble to bring up the merchant card Click on the card to view all transactions related to this merchant.
