Currency

Currency is a very important concept in Fina. Every account has its own currency setting which indicates the currency for the transaction amount in the account. The currency of accounts connected through Plaid and MoneyKit is automatically set to the currency of the bank account.

What if I want to see all my data in a completely different currency? System setting is the answer.

1. Go to User Settings.
2. Click on the System tab.
3. Select the currency you want to use.
4. Click on the Save button.
5. All your data will be converted to the new currency.

Fina supports 60+ currencies from different countries, including all major fiat currencies and major crypto currencies.

The ability to handle multiple currencies in real-time is one of the most powerful features of Fina loved by our users. More importantly, barely any other financial software can do this.

Crypto Currency

All currency conversion in Fina is live and real-time. That means you can see the value of your crypto currency in real-time as well if you do.

Though Fina does not support crypto wallet connection yet, you can still track crypto value you hold, contributing to your total net worth:

1. Add a manual account
2. Set its currency to the crypto currency, such as BTC.
3. Set its value, such as 1.5 indicating your holding of 1.5 Bitcoins.

Change Currency Instantly

You can change the currency of any account at any time. Fina will automatically convert the value of the account to the new currency, which takes effect immediately.
